Hopes Ground Down along with PatternThe REG-274 Handmade Damascus Steel 13 inch Knife I bought arrived. When I opened it to take it out of the packaging, there was enough oil in the plastic sleeve around the knife to probably cover several of my katanas and still have enough to cover the knife. Worse yet, it was a sticky cheap oil and hard to clean up. I took the pictures after rubbing the knife down a few times, and you can still see the crud on it.
