Customer reviewsAlmost pretty good.
The bag itself is great, but the straps suck. Take a close look at the product pictures, the upper straps have something called Load Springs. The heavy strap material is replaced with a somewhat stretchy mesh material, the so called load springs I guess, and the two sections of heavy strap material are joined by pieces of cordura. The load springs don t stretch far enough to ever take the full weight of the bag off of stretchy material. For most people this will probably never matter. But for me, my pack rides in the back of a pickup truck, on the side of a camel, and occasionally on the handlebars of a goped. In less than a month my straps are badly frayed in the soft mesh stretch section and I doubt they will last a year. If this bag had a more traditional strap it would be a nearly perfect bag. I love the top pocket for stashing a phone and my wallet when going through airport security, and the second full height zipper pocket is a great place for a clipboard, or even a trapper keeper. It would be a four star bag if it had better straps.
